Our ski's were as tall as
we could reach with our finger tips over our heads. In spite of discomfort we loved it.Then again on Dec 29 to Jan 2nd we went skiing at Yosemite and Badger Pass, staying at Fish Camp with Fred & Liz, Fran, Axel, Mark, Liz's s cousin & some friends. We rented 2 huge dorm rooms with the boys in one and the girls in another. Since we were newlyweds George insisted that I sleep with him in guys dorm. I'll admit it was cozier and warmer that way!! The cabins we stayed in had no heat and our socks and mittens barely dried before putting them on for the next day. We celebrated our first new year at Fish Camp.
In February the 2 of us spent five days at Yosemite and Badger Pass skiing and I was really getting the hang of it.
The next year in February we skied at Cisco's, Yosemite,with Fran and Axel and in March George and I skied at Yosemite, one of our nicest ski trips. Again in April we skied with Ax and Fran at Yosemite in a snow storm. We'd get soaked, dry out and go back to skiing . Much fun. Leslie and Lesta would take care of Freddie and Rollie said that if they ever had Freddie for 2 weeks we would never give him back.
The 4th year I was pregnant with Danny so our skiing days were over.
